Video Cards??

I've been asked about buying a video card. It all boils down to what are you going to do with your computer. Are you going to play games or are you going to surf the Internet and use e-mail. If you are not going to play games, then a simple video card with 265 MB of RAM is fine. But if you are a big game player then start saving up for a video card that has 512MB of RAM or more. High end cards start at $200.00 and go up from there.

Check to see what the recommended hardware specifications are for the particular game you want to play. Look on the box or go to the game maker's web site. In some cases, they gear towards specific video cards. Research the specifications against other cards. Check out the video card's performance to see if it meets your requirements.

Then shop around. There are hundreds of online stores that will have sales for the Christmas season.

Good luck.

Afternoon! Here I am sitting here trying to figure out another puzzle. I always tell people that repairing a computer is like solving a puzzle. If you take the time to look at what you see and what it is doing. Then yes, you can figure it out. You just need to have a guide to start from. A methodology.
